A transition day, on the move to the next destination. Windy, but manageable. Passing the border via the gravel road at Cerro Castillo. Another 70 km of gravel on Route 40, then a smooth ride to El Calafate. In the afternoon the attempt to get my oil and oil filter changed at the only motorcycle shop in town. They remove the crash bars to get to the filter, but lack the special tools to remove it. Put the crash bars back on and just change the oil. Need to go buy more oil because they don’t have enough of the required type. Total duration of the procedure: 3 hours. Oh yeah.
